Veterans Day in Bozeman Montana
Bozeman Honors Fallen Veterans
Veterans here find that Bozeman makes them feel warm and welcome, both at the university and in the community. On Friday, volunteers will gather at MSU to read the 6200 names of the troops that have died in the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq since 2001. Names will be read from 9 am until 5pm with a moment of silence observed at noon and will be streaming on Montana State Universities’ website. If you would like to participate by reading for 15 minutes, call994-6902 to volunteer.
Some other activities happening over the weekend are:
The student veterans club will be hosting its first 5k and
10k run, register at 7 am on the north side of the sub.
