It had nice curb appeal - then I walked in the front door ...
While my sister was in town for a visit I showed her one of my listings. (I MIGHT be trying to get her and her family to move to Bozeman. Wink, wink.) She loved this home so much that I asked her if she would mind sharing her thoughts on it. Here's what she had to say:
I thought it was a nice-looking home with great curb appeal until I walked in the front door. What was the first thing that grabbed my attention, you ask? The kitchen. THIS KITCHEN … Someone put a lot of effort and love into that space. I asked our gracious host, the homeowner, who designed the kitchen. Her reply, “My husband.” Yes. Now I understand. You see, said husband is a custom cabinet builder. Here are some of my favorite features:
The Pickle-wood floors.
The copper, farm-house sink.
The custom barrel-wood bar.
The kitchen wasn't the only spectacular space in this home, though. There are two home offices that I would be more than happy to work from!
Windows abound! Such light-filled, peaceful rooms ...
And last, but certainly not least - The "secret" play room. This little gem is situated right off a bedroom. The entrance is inside the bedroom's walk-in closet. It's AWESOME. Any kid would love to have it, and honestly, so would this adult. It would be my "all-alone-with-a-good-book-hide-out".
Lego's not your thing? Then check out the rec-room. The whole family would enjoy this space.
This home appealed to me on so many levels. The custom features through-out make this home incredibly unique. In a world full of cookie-cutter suburban neighborhoods, THIS home is a true ONE-OF-A-KIND.
